TBPA Membership Benefits
TBPA has been working diligently to provide more Membership Benefits. We are excited to announce that not only does your TBPA Membership include automatic membership with the National Federation of Paralegal Associations (NFPA), but it now includes automatic membership with the Florida Alliance of Paralegal Associations (FAPA). In addition, we have been provisionally approved to become an affiliate of the National Association of Legal Assistants (NALA) upon adoption of our Bylaws to reflect this affiliation by the end of this year!

TBPA 2013 Scholarships!
In addition, TBPA is offering a Professional Certification Scholarships for those paralegals who desire to take the PACE or PCCE Exams to become either a CRP or RP through NFPA, and TBPA's Sustaining Member Bolter & Carr Investigations is sponsoring a Professional Certification Scholarship for Board Members. Both Professional Certification Scholarships are to cover the costs of the review handbook/manuel and examination fees up to $350. Completed applications with all supporting documents must be postmarked by October 31, 2013 to be eligible.

TBPA ProBono & Community Service Projects

TBPA Paralegal Student Mentors
TBPA Mentor Committee is working with the Hillsborough Community College to pair paralegal students with working paralegals for an interview by the students. If you want to participate as a Mentor in this program or if you'd like to be assigned to a Mentor, please contact the Mentor Committee Chair, Nita Serrano. Also, you can download the application and provide it to the TBPA Mentor Committee.
